Book Clubs

Looking for a reading community to connect with to discuss books? Join a book club at the Library! We facilitate a variety of book clubs that meet monthly at the Library, as well as providing services and book club sets for independent book clubs that meet on their own. These services are available to any Brockville Public Library cardholder in good standing.

Monthly Book Clubs

We facilitate several monthly book club meetings in-person at the Library. Each group includes a staff person in addition to community members.

Our in-house book clubs are currently at capacity and cannot accept new members. If you are already on the waitlist, we will contact you when a spot opens up.

Book Club Sets

Our book club sets contain 10 copies of the same title, so that each member of your book club can get their hands on your next read before meeting to discuss it. Many sets also contain a large print version, audiobook on CD and discussion questions to jump start your conversation.

To reserve a set for your book club, email us at info@brockvillelibrary.ca.

Literacy Book Club

Our literacy book club for adults with intellectual disabilities meets weekly on Wednesday evenings from 6 – 7 pm to read simple books and work on literacy activities together with our volunteer literacy tutor.

Interested in joining? Contact us at info@brockvillelibrary.ca to have a conversation with our staff about your literacy needs.

Have your own book club? Let us get books for you!

If you already have your own private book club but need some help obtaining copies of the same book for each member every month, we can help! Email us at info@brockvillelibrary.ca to get connected with our book club facilitators to acquire books for each member of your club.
