  • Our Community Garden is Planted

    We have just planted our community gardens! This year we are featuring a Canada150 garden in our smaller bed and have a variety of plants in our larger bed. Back by popular demand is a map of our gardens. Printed copies are available at the circulation desk. This year Blackscape Supply (a new company) donated soil and all the mulch for our gardens. Thank you!!

    Take a peek into Brockville’s history on our new Microfilm reader! The "Recorder & Times" newspaper is on microfilm from the 1830's to the present day. Book a microfilm reader for a two hour session. Click here for more details.

  • The community's vision for the Children's Room becomes reality!

    The Brockville Public Library Board and staff are thrilled to announce that the Children’s Room makeover project will be fast-tracked to completion with significant funding from the Rotary Club and the City of Brockville. The refreshed and rejuvenated space will highlight the book and toy resources while also becoming flexible through the addition of mobile shelving and furnishings for enhanced programming and accessibility.
